2008 Spring Snow Goose Hunts.......see our video!!!!!!!

Our Prairie Hills Ranch is located at the heart of the Central Flyway and during the peak of the spring migration, we see several hundred thousand snows a day. The sight is truly amazing for those new to the experience. 

Once again this year, renowned snow goose guide Jon Bentley will be at the Ranch to help you ambush these flocks.

Our hunts utilize up to 2,000 decoys, layout blinds, top-of-the-line electronic callers and Jon’s latest innovations for decoying wary snows. Our decoy field set up is provided by our staff but you can help if willing! These are fair hunts for wild migrating birds. Some hunting days are more productive than others. We can not guarantee birds, but last years’ hunt netted 21 birds/field/day.

Accommodations

Our standard hunting packages include clean, comfortable lodging including satellite TV, washer/dryer, a modern kitchen, indoor/outdoor dog kennels and bird cleaning facilities.

We also offer an optional meal package that provides a delicious daily brunch and dinner enjoyed in our convenient field-side club house.

What to Bring

-          Non-toxic shotshells (budget 3 boxes per day)

-          South Dakota Spring Light Goose License

-          Camo clothing and facemask for all weather types

-          Food or drink (non-alcoholic) you may want while in the field

-          Rubber boots and field boots

-          Sleeping bag/towel

-          Camera

-          Positive attitude and willingness to help with decoy spreads and bird cleaning
